Obviously, in a buggy if it rains you get wet. However, even when a hood is in place experience shows that water still can get into the cockpit area. Therefore the Doon has been designed to help reduce this ingress.
The bottom and sides of the windscreen frame seats into moulded slots in the dashboard panel to stop water seeping underneath when driving in wet weather. Additionally there is a raised 'rain lip' moulded around the whole of the cockpit area to ensure rain is deflected away, to stop it dripping inside when a hood is fitted.
